Over the past decade and a half my passion has been health, healing, and human performance.  For me, there is nothing more rewarding than helping someone overcome their health challenges and achieving a level of health they never thought possible.  This is the driving force that has led me down my path as a Chiropractor, speaker, and health and wellness expert.  As a child I was blessed to grow up in a house where health came first.  What would now be called the “wellness lifestyle” was the norm in our household.  Though there are multiple facets to this way of living, nutrition was always at the forefront.  While my friends had a bowl of cereal for breakfast my mother would make me a smoothie.  They had fruit snacks in their lunch boxes, while I picked a plum or apple off one of our backyard trees on the way to school.  While some kids’ dinners consisted of chicken nuggets and mac n’ cheese, ours was usually some type of venison and a side of vegetables.  My mother says even as a child I would grab something off the shelf at the grocery store and ask “Mom, how much protein does this have in it?”  The point is, I have always loved studying nutrition because it has always come natural to me and it is something I love teaching and discussing with others.

We live in a country where 70% of the population is overweight or obese, which is a direct result of our lifestyles, and the linchpin to the top two killers in our country… Cancer and Heart Disease.  Clearly, we are not winning the war on Obesity or Chronic Illness.  The recommendations currently given by most Doctors, Nutritionists, Dietitians, and many weight loss products or programs continue to fuel this epidemic, instead of correct it!  So out of necessity we chose to bring a program to our people that would set the record straight and truly teach them how to be healthy for life.  As a team we have dug, researched, trained, and teamed up with some of the smartest individuals in the health industry to implement a program that gets to the root cause of obesity and provides a sustainable weight loss solution.   

As a doctor and wellness expert, I truly feel there is nothing on the market today that can hold a candle to this program.  It incorporates so many elements that are essential for predictable health outcomes and sustainable weight loss results.  My team and I are excited to fill this void in our community and look forward to helping you and your loved ones on your health and weight loss journey.

Being involved in various sports and activities growing up, I have always been an active person and lived an active lifestyle. For a long time, however, I considered that to be enough to be ‘healthy.’ It wasn’t until I started working in a health and wellness chiropractic clinic, that I was able to take a step back and really look into the other aspects of true health, the long-term risks of unhealthy habits, diet confusion, and most importantly overall poor nutrition, which is the focus of our program.

In conjunction with education on how to eat well, a big focus I have for this program is evaluating your quality of life. With a background in Psychology, it has helped me see the correlation between poor health and poor quality of life. There are some participants that don't even realize their weight and how they feel in their own skin has been holding them back from being their best self for months, even years! Being Cheyenne Weight Loss's Health Coach and bringing the awareness that eating healthy not only helps you lose weight, but it helps you overall feel better, improve your quality of life and ultimately be happier is my driving force everyday for this program.
